I don’t think I have met anyone more passionate about the work that they do than attorney Michael Forton.  Michael is the statewide Director of Advocacy for Legal Services Alabama.  He was named as Legal Services of Alabama Advocate of the Year in 2008.  Prior to his work with Legal Services, Michael worked as a staff attorney for  Florida Rural Legal Services.  Michael is a graduate of Michigan State University and you’ll hear his story of how he made his way down to the University of Alabama School of Law where he currently serves on the  the law school’s Public Interest Advisory Board.  I enjoyed  hearing Michael’s story on this podcast.   Also, if you are looking for a worthy cause to support, I’d recommend the talented and devoted attorneys and staff at Legal Services Alabama.
